Michael Jackson’s doctor Conrad Murray has appeared in court charged with involuntary manslaughter.
The brief hearing on Monday was attended by members of the Jackson family including Janet, Jermaine, Joe, Katherine.
Murray pleaded not guilty to giving the singer an anaesthetic that led to his death in June last year.
Reports in the US say the doctor will claim that Jackson himself administered the dose of painkiller Propofol.
The case has now been adjourned until this summer, Murray could face up to four years in jail if convicted.
