Jacko’s Mum Sues AEG

Who were working on the star’s final O2 shows…

Michael Jackson’s mother is suing the company behind his This Is It dates at the O2 Arena.
Katherine Jackson claims that promoter AEG did not give the star proper medical care as he rehearsed for the shows.
MJ was found dead on June 25 2009 after being given a massive dose of the painkiller Propofol by his Doctor- Conrad Murray.
The lawsuit claims the King of Pop was put under too much pressure to perform in the 50 announced gigs.
It states: “AEG was merely doing whatever it took to make sure that Michael Jackson could make it to rehearsals and shows.
"At the time of his death, Michael Jackson was under the immediate care of a doctor selected by, hired by, and controlled by AEG."
Kenny Ortega, who was thedirector of the ill fated shows and the man behind High School Musical is also named as a defendant in court documents.
AEG owns venues around the world including the Staples Centre in LA and the O2 Arena in London.
