Around 5,000 fans were at the O2 Arena in London where the star took to the stage and announced "I love you so much!"
The singer has not played full live shows since 1997 so its no surprise there is this much excitement. He has signed a three year deal with promoters AEG which is likely to see him also tour the world.
The lobby of the huge O2 Arena was used for the announcement with a stage set up for the so called ‘King of Pop.’
Jacko did not take questions from the assembled press.
