Michael Jackson Movie Coming?
A new documentary looks set for release later in ’09…
Michael Jackson’s final days could be on the big screen before the end of the year.
According to reports Sony Pictures has offered $50 Million to buy rehearsal footage from o2 Arena owners AEG.
But it’s thought Sony face stiff competition from other movie studios who also want rights to distribute the movie.
Over 80 hours of footage showing Jackson rehearsing before his death was shot and is now being edited by Kenny Ortega- who was creative director of the London residency.
Reports say AEG are also organising a tribute concert for the o2 Arena- which would take place on what would have MJ’s 51st birthday August 29.
It’s claimed different high profile artists will perform classic hits by the King of Pop.
