Michael Jackson's Dad Gets Appeal In Estate Case

The hearing will happen on October 6th...

An appeals court has granted Michael Jackson's father Joe the right to argue that he should be involved in the decisions regarding Jacko's multi-million dollar estate.

The decision comes after MJ's father challenged a ruling by the state judge that his late son's estate would not be managed by the Jackson family but was to be run by attorney John Branca and music executive John McClain.
Joe's lawyer Brain Oxman has since stated: "I think it's an important issue for all fathers around the country and around the world that when their child dies they should have a say-so in their child's estate,"


Reports suggest that Mr.Jackson's appeal is 'not well taken' by the opposed, with their attorney Howard Weitzman reiterating the point after his recent attempt to challenge the state judge's ruling.
