Mike Myers To Get Own Postage Stamp
The actor is set to have his face immortalised on a Canadian stamp...
Mike Myers has been honoured with his own postage stamp in his home nation of Canada.
The actor's face will be commemorated on the 85-cent stamp alongside three of his most famous characters - Wayne Campbell from Wayne's World, and Austin Powers and Dr Evil from the Austin Powers series.
The stamp is set to be released this summer as part of a series to celebrate Canadian comedians.
The 51-year-old is said to be thrilled by the honour.
According to WENN, Myers said: "I can't believe it... It's unbelievably flattering. I just want to thank whoever in the Canadian government decided to put this idiot on a stamp".
The funnyman also revealed his mother, from Liverpool, wasn't overly impressed by the achievement.
"She literally said, 'Is it legal tender?' I'm sure if you got enough Mike Myers stamps you could buy a car," he added.
"She said, 'Do you not know anyone else who is on a stamp?' I go, 'Yeah, one other person - Her Majesty the Queen!'"
Other comic stars set to be featured in the special stamp collection have yet to be announced.
