Miley Cyrus has come out in a splash of fuchsia on her Instagram page to announce that she will be the new page of MAC Viva glam cosmetics.

Sharing a picture of herself, swathed in pink, and giving us a sneak peek of two products that will have her name on them, Miley captioned the image of a lipstick and gloss saying “my lipgloss b poppin".

[related]This year has seen Mi-Cyreally up her social responsibility game. After bringing a homeless man as her date to VMA’s, its been announced that ALL proceeds of the Viva Glam line will go towards people suffering with HIV and AIDs.

Speaking of her new role, Cyrus told reporters at last night's Tom Ford gala: "I kind of felt like Viva Glam, it was the perfect time for me to be the spokesperson because there is so much attention on me and everything that I say and I do and I think that if that conversation, instead of it just being, 'Can you believe what she wore? Can you believe what she did on stage?' can actually be about awareness and prevention and getting into young people's brains and getting them to understand sexuality and how to be safe.

"I think this year too was just more of a focus for me on how to actually do things that matter and if I'm going to be on this platform, make sure that what I'm saying and what I'm doing is really speaking to people and getting them to understand what life is really about. So I think this is a good time for me and what my focus is to start doing something with MAC and to get involved."

Miley isn’t the first person to put her face and name to the line, following on from Rihanna, Lady Gaga and Nicki Minaj who have all supported VIVA Glam. She'll no doubt give a touch of glittery to the range, and we’re smacking our lips with anticipation to see what the rest of the line has to offer!
