Miley Cyrusflick Hannah Montana: The Movie (the sequel) has taken $34 million in it’s first weekend, topping the US Box Office and knocking Fast & Furious into second place after just one week at number 1.

The new film see’s Miss Montana trying to juggle her everyday life of friends and school with her new found alter-ego of international pop-star, something that Miley must be able to relate to off set. As Hannah begins to believe her own hype, her father steps in just in time bring her down to earth.

However, the boy racers aren’t likely to be too worried after taking first-place openings in 18 foreign markets, battling competition from Monsters Vs. Aliens over the Easter weekend.

Fast & Furious is the fourth in the franchise and sees’ Paul Walker and Vin Diesel join forces for the first time since movie number one, expect fast cars, faster girls and a whole lot of reggaeton and hip-hop.
