Miley Cyrushas denied claims suggesting that she is a suspect in a criminal battery case.
Liam Hemsworth at Beacher's Madhouse in the Roosevelt Hotel when he accidentally bumped into the actor's chair.
An argument is then said to have started, with Hemsworth apparently confronting the man and Cyrus trying to break up the clash.
The alleged victim then says that the 19-year old singer pushed him away and struck him in the face.
A witness later told TMZ that he saw the conflict, but Miley did not throw a punch.
A spokesperson for the former Hannah Montana star has since told the website that the accusations were "completely false and erroneous."
Earlier this week, Miley also hit the headlines after a stalker was arrested at her home in Los Angelesafter claiming to be her husband.
40-year old Jason Luis Rivera was later charged with two misdemeanor counts and is set to appear in court on 17th September.
