Miley Cyrus has opened up about the strategy behind her new look and sound, saying that every decision the young starlet makes is part of a “bigger plan.”
In her highly-anticipated MTV documentary Miley: The Movement - which airs tomorrow (October 3) at 8pm on MTV UK - the 20-year-old superstar reveals:
"I think if people could see the details, they would know that this isn’t just some mess. This is all thought out in my mind. Every decision goes into a bigger plan."
The singer also speaks about her recent MTV VMA performance with Robin Thicke, which had everyone talking about her twerk-tastic antics.
Miley continued: "People can look at the VMA performance and think it's a hot mess. It's a strategic hot mess."
She added: “People always want to call it a transition. It’s not a transition. I'm the same human, I've got the same heart I did five years ago. Everything about me is the same. Same skin, same human. So it's not a transition. It’s a movement. It’s a growth. It’s a change.”
“For me, the movement needs to be something bigger than just a record. For me, a movement is something that represents like taking over the world.”
What else will she reveal? You'll have to tune in to find out when Miley: The Movement premieres Thursday, October 3 at 8pm only on MTV UK!
