Miley Cyrus has offered some words of wisdom to Justin Bieber following his recent DUI arrest.

During in interview on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, the Adore You singer was quizzed about JB's bad behaviour, with Mi-Cy saying that he needs to avoid trouble in the future.

Miley stated: "You know what? You got a lot of money. Pay people to make sure you don't get in trouble.

"And party at your house. Buy a house and add a club to it."

Cyrus went on to add that she is "proud" not to have gone off the rails as a teenager, telling Leno: "It's funny because today, I was looking and some of my fans put all these people's mug shots up.

"And they were like, 'I don't see a Miley mugshot yet'. And I get the most flak out of anybody - and I look and I think, 'I'm not doing anything illegal'.

"I'm doing a lot of s**t, but I'm not doing anything illegal. So that's alright. Everything I do is legal in California."

Bieber has since thanked the mayor of his hometown of Stratford in Canada, after Dan Mathieson showed his support for JB saying that everyone "makers errors" in life.

He added: "I hope for his sake that he can get a reset, and get back to music and doing what he loves."

After seeing Mathieson comments, the All That Matters singer tweeted: "Never forget where you come from or those who supported you before anyone else. Still the small town kid. Thanks."
