Miley Cyrus has had a busy year releasing music and rocking some pretty crazy outfits while she was at it, but her latest hair style seems to be a bit of a throwback to times gone by.

Now that her super short do has grown out, it's turned into a full-on bob and although we're not sure Miley will be too impressed with us saying it, it totally reminds us of the Hannah Montana days.

Taking to Instagram over the festive period, Miley showed off her new look as she hung out will pals out and about in LA.

While we're pretty sure the look won't last for long if she and her fluro wig collection have anything to do with it, we're still loving seeing those honey blonde locks doing their thing.

You might not want to say that to Miley herself though as she's apparently a bit sick of people saying they miss the 'old Miley'...

Our lips are sealed - at lest until next week when she shaves half of it off and dyes the other half intopink and green stripes.
