Miley Cyrus 'Home Burgled Day Before Birthday'

Miley Cyrus' home was reportedly burgled the day before her 21st birthday.

US gossip site TMZ reports that a thief gained access to her property in Studio City, Los Angeles - and made off with jewellery with an unspecified value.

Nobody was home at the time and TMZ reports: "It's unclear how the crook (or crooks) got inside the house... but cops say they're currently investigating how it all went down."

Miley spent her 21st birthday yesterday rehearsing for an appearance at the American Music Awards this evening.

She is reportedly planning to celebrate the milestone birthday afterwards.

Miley performed on The X Factor last weekend.
