Miley Cyrus Isn't A Massive Fan Of Her Engagement Ring From Liam Hemsworth: "It Isn't My Aesthetic"
She'd rather wear jewellery made out of gummy bears.
It was obviously a wonderful moment (engagement DEFO confirmed, yay!) yet her feelings about the ring weren't quite as heartwarming as we imagined (not so yay).
Ellen spoke to Miley about the ring which she first accepted from Liam Hemsworth back in 2012: She asked, "There is a photo that got a lot of attention of your engagement ring. Are you wearing it right now?"
The answer to that was yes (congrats Miley!) though she confessed to not being a fan of her finger bling, only wearing it to show her love for Liam.
She admitted: "This is really weird because this is like real jewelry and most of my jewelry is made out of gummy bears and cotton candy and they don't look that good together because they kind of mix up, so sometimes I replace it with an actual unicorn or a Looney tune".
"And Liam's kind of like what's going on? It's like, well, this isn't really my aesthetic, but I'll wear it because you love me", she added.
To which Ellen joked, "He could have saved you a lot of money by giving you a gummy bear ring".
According to E! news, the engagement ring in question is special because Liam and Miley 'worked on it together'. The source revealed: "Miley specifically wanted it set in gold. She didn't want platinum. She liked the gold because it was different and unique, like her. She didn't want anything classic or generic."
It's alright Miley, we'll take it off your hands if you like...
