Miley Cyrus, The Flaming Lips Cover The Beatles!

Miley Cyrus has teamed up with The Flaming Lips to record a version of The Beatles' song Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds.

The group are remaking the Fab Four's iconic Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band LP, with Miley and MGMT's Andrew VanWyngarden and Tame Impala giving them a helping hand.

Frontman Wayne Coyne took to Instagram to confirm news of their collaboration, posting a snap of Mi-Cy in the studio.

Editing the pic with diamond graphics, Coyne wrote alongside the image: "Miley in the studio vomiting diamonds while singing Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds!!

"If you're a Beatles and John Lennon freak you gonna love love love this track!! Got Andrew from MGMT too!!!!"

The Wrecking Ball singer was previously snapped in the studio with the band, with Cyrus also collaborating with Coyne and Steven Drozd on stage in February.
