Miley Cyrus has been given the fright of her life during an interview on Ellen DeGeneres' chat show on US TV.
The star was merrily chattering away about conquering her fear of skydiving, when a Robin Thicke impersonator crept up on her from the back of the set and shouted in her ear - causing her to clutch her hands to her face and scream: "Oh my god, oh my god!"

However the 20-year-old quickly regained her composure and managed to joke about the incident.
She quipped: "I was scared it was gonna be strippers, you never know with Ellen."
However the host reassured her: "No, it was just a Robin Thicke lookalike."
Sir Paul McCartney has [uuid=9d9e20b2-d73d-4109-9350-cd4e9e0702d9]given his support to Miley[/uuid] in the wake of her controversial MTV VMAs performance with Thicke.
