Miley Cyrus Scores UK Charts Double
Star comes in like a Wrecking Ball to top both singles and albums charts...
Miley Cyrus has scored a UK charts double whammy by going in at the top of both the Official UK Singles Chart and the Official UK Albums Chart in the same week.
The controversial pop star proved there's no such thing as bad publicity - at least where record sales are concerned - by shooting straight to the top of the singles chart with Wrecking Ball.
Rapper Eminem made his chart comeback with new single Berzerk, a new entry at No 2.
And last week's No 1 - Counting Stars by OneRepublic - slipped two spots to No 3.
Conor Maynard's R U Crazy was a new entry at No 4 as was Disco Love by The Saturdays at No 5.
Miley's Bangerz went straight in at the top of the albums chart - with Chase & Status having another new entry at No 2 with Brand New Machine.
Arctic Monkeys' AM rose one place to No 3 - swapping places with Kings Of Leon's Mechanical Bull.
Last week's No 1 album - Haim's Days Are Gone - was at No 5.
