Miley Cyrus To Start A 'Movement' For MTV!

Miley Cyrus has been making headlines for months now, but chances are, you don't know the whole story.

 

That will change on October 3, when MTV UK premieres Miley: The Movement, a one-hour documentary that follows Cyrus as she records her Bangerz album, and delves deep into her transformation from Disney icon to boundary-pushing pop star.

 

 And, as you'd probably expect, she's taking fans - her Smilers - everywhere.

 

Speaking to MTV US about the doc, the We Can't Stop star said: "I want all my fans to come with me; to the studio, on the road, at performances.

 

"There's going to be a lot of ups and downs, and it's going to be completely insane. You've gotta be a part of the movement with me."

 

Last week, MTV News gave fans an exclusive sneak peek of the doc, debuting a scene in which Miley addressed the critics of her VMA performance and stated, matter-of-factly: "I don't pay attention to the negative.

 

"I've seen this play out so many times," she said of the criticism. "How many times have we seen this play out in pop music? Madonna's done it. Britney's done it. Every VMA performance, that's what you're looking for; you're wanting to make history."

 

What else will she reveal? You'll have to tune in to find out. Miley: The Movement will premiere Thursday, October 3 at 8pm only on MTV UK!
