Miley Cyrus turned heads for all the right reasons in New York last night (October 22) as she wowed in a glitzy, backless green gown at the 'Galaxy' themed 2013 FGI Night of Stars gala.

The Wrecking Ball singer was on hand to present Marc Jacobs with this year's Superstar Award at the bash - and what better way to celebrate the designer by wearing one of his creations.

Mi-Cy completed her glamorous look with Saint Laurent shoes and Lorraine Schwartz jewellery - the same designer who is credited for [uuid=6a382812-286a-499d-acce-d00a3456c2d7]Kim Kardashian's 15-carat diamond engagement rin[/uuid]g from Kanye West.

Marc Jacobs International later took to Twitter to post a pic of Miley at the event, writing: "The co-man of the evening @robertcduffy and @MileyCyrus getting their #FGINightOfStars2013 gala on."

Speaking of her own style during a recent interview with MTV News US, the 20-year old said: "You can just mix white trash and Chanel, that's me. That's my ultimate look.

"Pretty much everything is weird bondage stores except obviously my jewellery—gotta keep it classy with Chanel. I wear a lot of jewellery during the day, so I pretty much just come with my own jewellery, and give me some underwear to wear with it, and I call it a day."

She continued: "What if I get to a photo shoot and the stylist just sucks? So I bring my own s**t. I feel like every girl is trying to have a beauty shot and prove that they're fashion.

"But I can be in white leggings and a white sports bra and I'm on a whole other level of s**t that those girls don't even get yet because they don't know how to do it."
