Noel Gallagher On Miley: "What The F*** Is All This About?"
Former Oasis frontman also talked Kanye and Lady Gaga...
Noel Gallagherhas revealed he “feels bad” for women in the music industry saying, “The sisters are not doing it for themselves.”
“I think there's a trend, unfortunately, in the game, at the minute, of girls desperately trying to be provocative,” he told Miley Cyrus he continued: “She was on TV recently, Miley Ray Cyrus, and it was just like, "What the f*** is all this about?" I don't know. It's a shame, because it puts all the other female artists back about f****** five years.”
Noel also had some choice words for Lady Gaga, saying: “Lady Gaga for me is all about that first album, because my daughter and my wife loved it. I've never heard of her since. What does that say? That speaks volumes, to me.”
However, there was one unexpected bright spot in Noel’s review of 2013 in music: “I actually, for the first time ever, listened to a Kanye West record… I really like it” he revealed, calling Kanye’s latest album, Yeezus, “f****** great”.
He also said he’d enjoyed watching Disclosure at Glastonbury over the summer: “I saw Disclosure in the dance tent, and I thought they were truly f****** amazing. I love that record.”
