Sir Paul McCartney has admitted he doesn't see what all the fuss is about when it comes to Miley Cyrus' racy on stage antics.

During an interview with Sky News the Beatles legend defended Miley's [uuid=cb7e568b-0ee3-4660-8d4b-8b622464784d]much-talked-about performance[/uuid] at the 2013 MTV VMAs, calling it "only mildly shocking" and saying "we've all seen worse than that."

When quizzed about the star's twerk-tastic moves at the awards show, Macca replied: "I don't think it was explicit at all. You couldn't see anything."

The 71-year-old singer continued: "I watched it as an experiment to check, but you look at it and you go, 'What's everyone shouting about?'"
