Watch Miley Cyrus Perform ‘Malibu’ Live For the First Time

Elsewhere in the set, Miley played ‘We Can’t Stop’ and a cover of Dolly Parton’s ‘Jolene’.

Miley Cyrus has performed her breezy new love song, ‘Malibu’, live for the first time over the weekend (May 13).

Playing KIIS-FM’s Wango Tango, Miley was dressed all in white, standing on a stage covered with dozens of pastel-coloured balloons. Things have definitely changed, haven’t they?

Katy Perry, Maroon 5, Zedd and more also played the annual day-long event in California.

Elsewhere in the set, Miley played ‘We Can’t Stop’ and a cover of Dolly Parton’s ‘Jolene’. (The pair actually came together for a duet of the country hit several years ago. Watch here.)

Miley Cyrus dropped the music video for ‘Malibu’ – featuring, yes, more balloons – last week. Watch it here.

‘Malibu’ is the first single from Miley’s still-untitled new album, which is the follow-up to 2015’s free album 'Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Petz' and 2013’s 'Bangerz.'

In other news, Cyrus said that she has no regrets about the time she and her now-fiancée Liam Hemsworth broke up, saying: “I think, know that everything is happening for the right reasons and I knew that when we weren’t together for the first time.” Read more of what Miley had to say here.
