Alice Cooper has denied that it was his fault that a chicken famously died at one of his gigs many years ago.
Speaking as a guest on today's TRL, the living rock legend blamed the crazy people in the audience for the untimely demise of the feathered poultry. "Somebody threw a chicken on stage," recalled the 'School's Out' singer, "I mean " what type of person would bring a chicken to a rock concert anyways?!"
"I plummeted the chicken into the audience and they proceeded to destroy it then throw it back on stage. The weird thing was " the first five rows were all in wheelchairs!"
"I got the blame for killing that chicken, but I didn't really kill it. Colonel Sanders is the real chicken killer!"
