The 2016 MOBO Awards Nominations are IN. Skepta, Kano and Laura Mvula lead the way, with the latter two running ahead with a massive FOUR nominations each.

Both Skepta and Kano are nominated for Best Male Act, with Laura Mvula joining Little Simz and Lady Leshurr in the Best Female Act category.

The 2016 MOBO awards looks set to cap off a pretty special September for Skepta, who won the Mercury Prize with his album' Konnichiwa', which he recorded, produced and released himself.

Grime (rightly) dominates this year’s nominees, with Kano, Skepta and Giggs all receiving nominations in the Best Album category.
