Krept & Konan, FKA twigs & More Up For 2015 MOBO Awards

This year's MOBO Awards nominations have literally just been revealed and MTV Brand New For 2015 winners Krept & Konan are joint leaders ofthe pack with four nods.

The 'Freak Of The Week's hit makers are nominated for Best Male, Best Song, Best Hip Hipand also Best Album for 'The Long Way Home' which made history earlier this year becoming the highest charting UK hip hip record when it debuted at No.2 in the iTunes chart.

Grime giant JME also scored four noms also including Best Male and Best Album.

Meanwhile Lianne La Havas and the enigmatic FKA twigs followclose behind with three nominations each. La Havas is eyeing up Best Female, Best Album and Best RnB/Soul Atwhile also twigs competes inBest Female but hastwo noms in the Best Video category for 'Pendulum' and 'Glass and Patron'.

Competeing alongside Krept & Konanfor Best Albumare Lianne La Havas''Blood', JME's 'Integrity', Wiley's 'Snakes & Ladders' and Jamie xx's'In Colours'.

This year's 20th MOBO Awards will take place in Leeds' First Direct Arena on 4th November and this year's ceremony will also honour Wiley with the inaugural MOBO 'Paving The Way' award in partnership with ITV2.

The 'Chasing The Art' rapper will be honoured with a paving stone to immortalise his legacy in a location meaningful to him where he started on his creative journey. Wiley has chosen to place his paving stone at his former secondary school ‘Bow School’ which his father also attend.
