If you've leafed through thepages of an edgyfashion mag in the last 12 months, you'll have most probably experiencedLucky Blue Smith's sparkling swimming pooleyes and icewhite quiff staring right back out at you.

Having landed campaign after campaign and starred in shoots alongside everyone from Lady Gaga to Kylie Jenner,he's fast becoming fashion's favourite model It Boy.

But if you want to know a little more about what it is that lies behind that magentic dgafpose, here's a few things you might notknow about Lucky Blue.

1. He was discovered at the age of 12

Prepare to feel totally unaccomplished as Lucky Blue might still be only 18-years-old, but he was first signedas a model at the age of 10 and made his international modelling debut two years later when he was12.

2. He comes from anall-star gene pool

There isn't just one model in this family and he was actually signed as a model alongside his two older sisters Pyper America and Daisy Clementine. Their mum Sheridan is a former model too, so it's no surprise the siblings followed in her footsteps.

Apparently the family are in talks to do a reality show and were known in there hometown in Utah as 'The Cullens' before they relocated to Hollywood.

3. You've got his agent to thank for that platinum blonde hair of his

He's naturally a darker blonde and only dyed his hair that iconic icy white after his agent thought it might help him ditch the 'sweet California boy' vibe.

4. He's also an actor

And is currently working on a movie called Love Everlasting, which let's be honest, is probably about to be your new favourite film.

5. He's a friend to the animals

Clearly he needs his eyes testing, but as he tells Business of Fashion:“I don’t want to be one of those kids who gets famous and then changes and becomes cocky. That’s why it’s so important to me to try and take a photo with every girl who comes to see me.
