YAAAS! 'Monster Hunter: World' Is Finally Out For PC

It's been a monster of a wait. Here's everything you need to know about the bestselling 2018 game.

It's finally here, Hunters - Monster Hunter: World is out now for PC.

The worldwide smash hit game has been so successful since it came out for Xbox One and PS4 earlier this year, that it's landed the title of being publisher Capcom's most successful game of all time. And boasting beautiful worlds, awesome monster hunting action and fun multiplayer co-op, it's not hard to see why.

So, if you haven't tried the game yet, now's the perfect chance for PC players to get hunting.

While the game's been out on Xbox One and PS4 for several months now, Capcom previously told fans the title was "currently being optimized for PC and is planned for an Autumn 2018 release" so it seems like the publisher's been able to bring the release forward earlier than planned.

Despite the delay, fans have been told that while the PC version will "have parity with the console versions" (thanks, PC Gamer), "special collaborations and other additional content that has been released post-launch [for consoles] will be coming to PC for free at a later date."

The PC version will set you back £50 for the standard version on Steam, while the fancy deluxe version - which costs £58.26 - gets you all that, as well as Samurai Set, Gesture: Zen, Gesture: Ninja Star, Gesture: Sumo Slap, Sticker Set: MH All-Stars Set, Sticker Set: Sir Loin Set, Face Paint: Wyvern, and Hairstyle: Topknot.

Don't forget, the epic Monster Hunter games are also going to become a huge Hollywood movie!

Producer Ryozo Tusjimoto confirmed to MTV that a big Hollywood movie is in the works.

"Yes, actually the Monster Hunter feature film is in the early stages of discussion and development in Hollywood," Tusjimoto said, "so watch this space in the future!”
