Michel Gondry – who started out as a music video director, most notably for Daft Punk and Björk – is back with what can only be described as a visual feast.
Based on a French cult book (L'écume des jours by Boris Vian – but don’t let that put you off…), Mood Indigo, stars the gorgeous Audrey Tautou and charming Romain Duris as ill fated lovers.
We caught up with the director and the stars of the flick to ask them about the challenges they faced turning the book into a movie, which many deemed “unfilmable”.
Mood Indigo hits UK cinemas this Friday, August 1.
