Morgan Stewart Interview: #RichKids of Beverly Hills Season 4 Is Way More In Your Face And Grittier
The OG Rich Kid tells us exactly how it is..
The #RichKids of Beverly Hills are BACK! And with a new season comes new dramas for LA’s hottest group of friends.
We caught up with everyone’s favourite straight talking blonde Morgan Stewart who dished the dirt on the ups and downs of series four, including the most shocking fall out yet…
At the end of last season you got engaged. How has it been planning your wedding?
The wedding planning process for us was definitely a little bit stressful, it wasn’t the easiest thing we’ve ever done. We really had to learn a lot about each other and what each other really expected from the day. It was more of a challenging thing for Brendan and I.
Did you get through it feeling stronger as a couple?
You know, we’re getting married Saturday so why don’t you ask me that next Monday?! It’s crazy, I’m working right up to the last minute which is good!
And it seems like this year, the Rich Kids have grown up…
This season feels completely different than previous seasons. We really, really, really have all evolved so much to these places from where we were even last season. I just feel like this season is so much more in your face and it is way more adult. I’m getting married, Jonny is dealing with real issues, Dorothy opens up about her love life. It has a different feel; it’s definitely more grown up and way grittier.
What was the most difficult scene to film this season?
I can’t give a way too much but Dorothy and I have a very challenging season. Our friendship is pushed to the limit and tested. She confronts me about something at my bachelorette party which I wasn’t really expecting and that definitely carries out throughout the season. That was the most difficult thing to film because it was unexpected. You will see very soon! It’s a very serious season and a lot of things happen.
You appeared on Kocktails With Khloe, how was that?
It was great! Khloe was lovely; she made me feel really comfortable. It was a very long shoot day. Basically you’re on set for hours but it’s so much fun. They give food and cocktails. She’s amazing, I was really happy that she had me on!
Why do you think the show got cancelled after one season?
I really don’t know I can’t speak on that. She worked really hard on it, I was really happy that she took it seriously so I guess it just wasn’t the right format? I have no idea, but she’ll do something else, she’s a busy girl.
Would you ever consider a Rich Kids spin off with Brendan?
You know, I think we would just have to determine that when the time came. I really don’t know. It wouldn’t be something that we are against but it would have to be under the right circumstances. We would really have to sit down and talk about it, if it was to take place in a different city maybe, you know I don’t think it could really be a different version of the show we do now because the people we hang out with on the show are our friends. So then it would be Morgan and Brendan and the same rich kids! I’m not sure it would be the best avenue for us to take.
How about a talk show?
Talk show, that’s my goal, that’s my end goal. I would love to have something like that. That’s actually something that I’m working for!
