Ms Dynamite has joined forces with MTV's The Wrap Up blog to support the This Is Abuse campaign, talking candidly about her own personal experiences of relationship abuse, and about how music inspires her.
Dy-Na-Mi-Tee, real name Niomi McLean-Daley, joins the likes of Wretch 32 and Mz Bratt, in the debate over Teenage Relationship Abuse, speaking to our urban blog about her views on the sensitive topic.
Relationship abuse can happen to anyone, it involves more than physical violence. It can be when someone constantly puts you down, threatens you or forces you to do something you don't want to and can have long term effects on your mental and physical health.
Over the coming weeks, The Wrap Up will be focusing on how urban music and artists can play a positive role in promoting respect in relationships.
