"F**k It!" Friday: Grace Victory
The 'Internet's Big Sister' is a social media PRO.
It’s that time of week again… welcome back to MTV Breaks’ “F**k It!” Friday, where we take our hats off to all those hot celebs and influencers who nailed their career fields by saying “f**k it!” (probably).
Because it’s only you that’s holding you back from world domination - you just have to believe in yourself and throw caution to the wind!
Since applications to be our MTV Breaks Social Media Correspondent at the MTV EMA this year are underway right now, we thought we’d choose a celeb who’s well known for their social media prowess. It’s none other than… GRACE VICTORY!
Grace Victory is an award-winning Vlogger and presenter who’s all about lady empowerment, body positivity and breaking down stigma. She’s got a book out (No Filter), she’s been in two BBC documentaries about dieting and body image, and she’s worked with brands like L’Oreal, ASOS, and of course MTV (she presents our fabulous Sex Squad series).
How did it all begin?
Well, Grace had a bit of a turbulent childhood. She likens her family life back then to that of Jeremy Kyle contestants, and in No Filter she describes how that made her more determined to launch her YouTube channel. Basically she said “f**k it!” and turned all the negativity in her life into passion, to create something amazing that would benefit others.
And she did it! Grace is our “F**k It!” Friday idol this week for overcoming all the things threatening to hold her back, and for using the incredible social media presence she built up to shine a light on topics that most need attention.
P.S. If you’re a social media guru like Grace, we want YOU to come with us to the MTV EMA in London as our Social Media Correspondent. For more information on our opportunities and how to apply, click here!
