We're EXTREMELY excited to announce that, after searching high and low for talented young photographers from around the world, we've FINALLY chosen our MTV EMA photographer, who'll be capturing all the live celeb action from the MTV EMA red carpet.

Since the MTV EMA is so fast-paced and jam-packed with celebs bustling around, weasked applicants to tag a photo that capturedmovement, and we were VERY impressed with the high standard of entries we received. It wasn't an easy decision as there were so many incredible photos for us to judge, but unfortunately there could only be one winner.

And the winner is… 18 year old Faisal Alam from India!

Faisal really impressed us with his incredibleentry, and with his enthusiasm and passion for photography. We caught up with him to ask him how it felt to be our MTV EMA winner.

How did you feel when you found out you won?

At first I felt that this was all too good to be true, it felt like a dream because I was impossibly happy and overwhelmed with emotions, my smile was so huge thatmy cheeks actually started hurting and at one point I thought I was going to cry.Right after I was told that I had won I shared the news with everyone who supported me and believed in me even when I didn't believe in myself.

What are you looking forward to the most?

As a photographer the one thing that really gets me excited and inspires me morethan anything is visiting new places, and I'm pretty much at my best when visitingnew places so I'm looking forward to explore a city like London which is denselypacked with amazing architecture and beautiful spots for photography. Another thing I'm looking forward to is getting to watch my favourite artists perform,it's like my playlist came to life.

What do you hope to get out of the experience?

The one thing I really hope to get out of this unique experience is knowledge.Because that's the one thing which is permanent and will alwayshelp meno matter what. I hope I get to push my limits and evolve as a photographer.All that and, of course, bragging rights on the off chance I get to meet Taylor Swift.
