2016 MTV Movie Awards: The Funniest/Weirdest/Best Moments

Bear attacks, flaming guitars and ALL. THE. LOLs...

Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson and Kevin Hart promised a 2016 MTV Movie Awards show that was bigger and better than anything that ever came before, and it's fair to say they delivered -and then some.

From incredible stunts to hilarious skits, show-stopping musical performances and more, the2016 MTV Movie Awards was a fitting 25th anniversary.

One Mad Opening Stunt

The Rock rocking a flaming guitar in a spiked and padded chest plate. Kevin Hart strapped onto the front of the Mad Max mega-vehicle in a gimp mask. SO MUCH FIRE AND BANGING OF DRUMS.

Now'that'is how you make an entrance.

Even better, their intro speech was incredible- full of f-bombs, fireworks on demand, 'fight' scenes, throwback photos, and a rather special'Chocolate Shrek'gag.

AND we discovered that The Rock is a Hufflepuff fan. #WIN.

Batman vs Superman vs Everyone

Damn, The Rock looksgood in aSuper suit. And hey, we kinda have a soft spot forKevin Hart's 'Dark Chocolate Knight', too.

From sh*tting on Captain America's face to f**king up Nick Fury/Samuel L. Jackson, it was the ultimate DC vs Marvel smack talk fight.

And speaking of Smack Talk...

Halsey Tearing Down The ‘Castle’

Following an introduction from Hollywood's most beautiful trifecta - Jessica Chastain, ChrisHemsworth, Charlize Theron - Halsey took to the stage and utterly'owned'it.

From arriving to the stage on a giant crownto the snowwhirling around the Warner Bros lot, it was the epitome of epic.

Throw in Halsey's note-perfect vocals, and a show-stopping outfit that combined a body lattice and a FREAKING CAPE, and we were enrapt.

Clips From Captain America: Civil War, Suicide Squad & Fantastic Beasts & Where To Find Them

Each and every one was bad-ass. Let's just relive the best bits in gifs.

When Leo Got F**ked By A Bear

What better way to celebrate 25 years of MTV Movie Awards than with a rap that took in some of the awards' greatest moments over the years, right up to celebrating the biggest scenes of the last year.

Including that moment Leo got f**ked by a bear. With a bunch of backing dancers dressed as bears. And surprise cameos from Anthony Mackie, Rebel Wilson and Adam Devine.

Remember that time Zac Efron apologised to Seth Rogen's testicles?

Because that happened.

Yep, when Seth and Zac teamed up to introduce the award for Best Comedic Performance, they all but nominated themselves for next year's showin the process.

Seth was sporting a rather hench new look, sparking an investigation from Zac that roped in a Seth rant against Ryan Reynolds, The Rock and more.

Salt-n-Pepa x15Deadpools = Inspired

Deadpool was a success for many, many reasons - not least Ryan Reynolds' commitment to irreverent lunacy.

One of the movie's main musical moments came courtesy of D-Pool's bopping around to Salt-n-Pepa classic 'Shoop', just before he embarked on a deranged killing spree.

So kudos to the hip-hop duo for taking to the stage, backed by a host of crotch-thrusting, gun-sniffing, wall-climbing Deadpools as dance support.

Will Smith'sGenerationAward hits youright in the feels

From a Lonely Island tribute stuffed full of musical memories (like you didn't sing along in time to that 'Fresh Prince' theme tune), through to Queen Latifah and Halle Berry's empowered, heart-felt introduction, and then Will Smith's funny, irreverent and positive acceptance speech, Will well and truly showed why he deserves the night's top gong.

Ariana Grande Getting‘Dangerous'

Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid's sultry intro was just a precursor to Ariana Grande's 'screen siren' look (bling alert!) and vocals, which pretty much blew the barn doors off the Warner Bros. studio lot.

Emilia Clarke: Impression Queen

Game of Thrones fans know Emilia Clarke can handle herself pretty well, no matter the situation.

But even we were surprised at the vocal skills on display in her award presentation alongside Andy Samberg, as The Lonely Island star challenged her to give her best Don Corleone, Borat and Kylo Ren - all for his MumMargaery.

Alexander Skarsgård flashes the skin

AND THE CROWD LOST THEIR MINDS.

Well you can't say he doesn't know his audience. In honour of his forthcoming movie Tarzan, MrSkarsgård decided to flash the flesh.

Between that jaw-dropper and his f-bomb filled speech alongside Samuel L. Jackson, it was the intro of the evening.

'The 2016 MTV Movie Awards, hosted by Kevin Hart and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson air Monday, April 11 at 8pm on MTV, Sky channel 126, Virgin channel 134.'
