On today's MTV News, Beyoncé really does run the world after dominating the 2014 MTV Video Music Award nominations - scoring a cool 8 nods!

Blonde rappers Iggy Azalea and Eminem follow closely behind Mrs Carter with seven nominations each.

And battling for the big one – Video of the Year – will be Queen B and Jay Z's Drunk in Love, Iggy and Charli XCX’s Fancy, Sia’s Chandelier, Pharrell’s Happy and – of course – Miley Cyrus’ Wrecking Ball.

We also hit the New York premiere of Woody Allen's 50th - yes 50TH! movie - where the ever-gorgeous Emma Stone gushed that working with the legendary filmmaker was "pretty great".

And finally, ahead of this weekend's Tomorrowland festival in Belgium, Hardwell explains what makes the Boom-based beats and bangers bash so brilliant.
