Pronounced "D-N-C-E",in the first of our exclusive videos the band told us how they got together,the origin of their band name and whythey chose thequirkily'Cake By The Ocean' as the titlefor their debut single...

"The name came in the creative process writing a song about being too tipsy or drunk to spell the word dance," Cole said, "and that's blossomed into four letters, four different unique superheroes. Each letter can mean whatever someone wants to so it's a very universal, big, open wide concept."

As for their infectious 'Cake By The Ocean' Joe revealed: "[We] wrote the song with some producers from Sweden, they kept confusing the drink 'Sex On The Beach'with 'Cake By The Ocean' and we ran with it."

"We shot the 'Cake By The Ocean' video in, I believe, Huntington beach," Cole added. "We brought a 15 ft cake to the beach and we invited a bunch of really beautiful, scantily clad people and we played the song for ten hours and goofed around."

As for what the future holds for the foursome,Cole told us:"The short term and long term plan for the band is to be the biggest band in the universe."
