Meet The Instagram Makeup Artist Who Creates Looks Inspired By Your Favourite Snacks
This will probably make you quite hungry.
FINALLY a makeup vlogger who understands the reality of what we want from our makeup: a look inspired solely by our favourite snacks.
From Cheetos to cheese and onion crisps, this makeup genuis who goes by the handle of Skelotim is redefining beauty goals with his super simple tutorials that are each based upon the packaging we all grew up with in our lunchboxes.
Tim credits his love of food as the main reason he started coming up with these 10 second tutorial, telling BuzzFeed: “I’m a fat ass and love to eat, so one day, I was looking at my hot Cheetos bag and said, ‘damn’! These colors would look amazing on my face haha. At first, I was so scared, thinking people weren’t gonna get my humor and embrace my fatness but they loved it!”
Damn straight they did and naturally the resulting looks have gone viral, not only for being hilarious but because they are actually some totally stunning makeup.
Check out a few of our faves.
Because managing to make onion crisps look hella fine is an achievement that should be acknowledged.
2. Ruffles sour cream and onion
As the refined and sophisticated cousin of cheese and onion crisps, it makes total sense that you'd want to wear them on your face.
3. Wild Berry Poptarts
It's a party for your eyelids with this super colourful smokey eye.
4. Takis Fuego
NEED that ombre lip in our lives.
All we need now is for Tim to do us a cheese sarnie tutorial, preferably with a side of actual cheese sarnie.
What? Don't pretend all that food chat didn't make you hungry.
