Jaden Smith Models Womenswear In New Louis Vuitton SS16 Campaign And It Rules
The gender-fluid campaign might just be their best yet.
Jaden Smith has never been one to conform to what's expected, so it makes perfect sense that Louis Vuitton have signed him up as one of the faces of their SS16 campaign.
If you're wondering what the twist to this seemingly normal modelling job is, it's not actually their menswear that he's showing off in the pics but their womenswear. Naturally the resulting imagery is edgy af.

With that Hollywood heritage and his music career to think about, you might not have thought that 17-year-old Jaden could get much cooler. But this campaign says otherwise and is yet another illustration of him leading the way when it comes ditching labels and the associations of traditional gender roles.
This is also a pretty interesting move on the part of LV, who seem to be intent on giving the brand an injection of modernism, something already evident in their decision to name Lightning from Final Fantasy as another of the models for the new collection.
It came down to creative director Nicolas Ghesquière to reveal the news and unveiling the first look pics of Jaden over on his Instagram, he announced his involvement in the project, saying: "Happy to introduce Jaden Smith @christiaingrey in the new SS16 @louisvuitton ad Campaign photographed by Bruce Weber."

Starring alongside female models Jean Campbell, Sarah Brannon and Rianne Van Rompaey, Jaden is seen working a biker jacket, tasselled string vest and a pretty incredible embellished skirt.
Pretty badass, right?
