Lili Reinhart may be the star of our fave new show Riverdale, but that doesn’t mean she’s invincible to the pesky skin problems we've all had to deal with it at some point or another.
Now the face of St. Ives, the actress has opened up how she’s learnt to embrace her skin and the acne that likes to pop by to say hi on occasion.

“Honestly, it’s something that I still struggle with. The first time I got acne, I was in seventh grade and it made me develop a form of body dysmorphic disorder,” she told Teen Vogue.
“Actually, there is a specific kind of BDB associated with acne. Every time I have a big cystic pimple or something, it very much triggers that part of me where I don’t want to look at myself in the mirror.
“It’s hard to take pictures of myself, I don’t want to go out in public, and I want to hide my face.”
Though now that she’s all grown up and learning how to navigate life, Lili has realised she can’t let her skin dictate what she does and where she goes.

“But, as I’ve gotten older, it’s a matter of realizing that I can’t let a pimple on my face decide what I do and where I go. Finding a skin routine that works for me helps. Actually, this morning I used the apricot scrub from St. Ives because my skin looked like it needed to be brought back to life.”
Lili goes on to add that letting her skin breathe is key to a healthy complexion, as well as spraying her BeautyBlender with rosewater.
