These Are The Most Searched For Halloween Costumes
Let’s get freaky.
If you’re worrying about what you’re going to dress up as this Halloween (and currently raiding your wardrobe to find ANYTHING slightly spook-related) don’t sweat it, because Google has released the most searched for Halloween costumes this year.
You may end up being co-ordinated with absolutely everyone else that’s hitting the streets to celebrate, but originality is so last season. Let’s all be unicorns and just be done with it.

But if unicorns don’t float your boat, then there are many more options for you to choose from:
Fortnite
Inspired by the world-popular video game, there are lots of places that are selling Fortnite costumes this year, including Amazon. This piñata mask is the most adult-friendly option as a lot of the costumes are child sized (feeling personally attacked yet?). Make sure no one starts hitting you for loot.
Shop: Fortnite Alpaca Mask, £28.12, available at Amazon.
Spiderman
As the second highest searched for costume, Halloween will probably be the only time you’ll blend into the crowd wearing a Spiderman outfit. Luckily though, you get to avoid the whole bitten by radioactive spiders fiasco Peter Parker had to go through. Phew.
Shop: Marvel Spiderman Costume, £35.95, available at Amazon.
Unicorn
There’s many a way to dress up as a Unicorn. You can simply stick a makeshift horn on your head, wear head-to-toe pastel or buy a Unicorn onesie for ultimate comfort. We know which one we’re choosing.
Shop: Sparkle Fleece Unicorn Onesie, £35.00, available at ASOS.
Dinosaur
Sticking to comfort, a Dinosaur onesie is an absolute shout. This one is covered in sparkles and even though it’s a guy in the picture, it’s a onesie. They don’t know gender, so go ahead and live your best life.
Shop: Dinosaur Onesie With Sequins, £35.00, available at ASOS.
Witch
The most classic of Halloween costumes but with the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina dropping this month, it’s caused an extra surge of people wanting to dress up witchy.
Shop: Black Witch Costume With Hat, £17.61, available at Amazon.
Harley Quinn
Fulfil your Suicide Squad fantasy by dressing up as Harley Quinn by dressing up as Harley Quinn. It’s easily done with temporary hair dye and an old ripped tee, but if you want to go all out then eBay have a pretty cheap option.
Shop: Harley Quinn Costume, £11.99, available at eBay.
Superhero
You can go out dressed up as anyone who’s ever stepped foot in the DC/Marvel universes, and beyond. Does this mean Spock is a solid choice? No? Okay, we’ll stick to Marvel then.
Shop: Marvel Superhero Costumes, £24.75, available at eBay.
Pirates
A real classic. Captain Hook is never a thing of the past and going dressed up as Captain Jack Sparrow is always a good choice.
Shop: Pirates Of The Caribbean Costume, from £7.99, available at Amazon.
Rabbit
Alice In Wonderland or Chandler from friends? Either way, a rabbit costume will serve you well. Not only are they cute, but again, ultimate comfort. Amirite?
Shop: Rabbit Onesie, £19.99, available at Amazon. Primark also stock similar in store for £14.99.
Clown
Arguably the scariest costume of them all if done right. Pennywise from the film IT is terrifying, and you’ll have a lot of trick-o-treaters quaking if you turn up turned out.
Shop: Pennywise Deluxe Costume, £35.64, available at Amazon.
