Just when you thought that rainbowhair couldn't get any more tumblr, along comes another internet trend takingthings to a whole new level.

This is My Little Ponyhair as you've never seen it before and not only involves going pastel, but is seeing girls braid their hair into real life unicorn horns that look a little like THIS:

Granted it might not be one for everyday wear - at least not unless you travel to school or work with the sunroof of the car open - but it's definitely the kind of statement do that's gonna give you a lot to talk about at your next fancy dress party.

The look itself has been popping up on Instagram and as Seventeen noticed, is seeing girls braiding their hair at the front of the head. Then, using what we assume is a LOT of product and possibly some sneakily hidden wiring in there too, they style the finished boxbraid upwards and into a point, just like you'd imagine from a wannabe unicorn.

Looks pretty majestic paired with a rainbow mane, doesn't it?
