Former Geordie Shore lass Vicky Pattison has opened up about her hair struggles after undergoing a cosmetic procedure to treat what she has described as traction alopecia.

The I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! star headed to Harley Street after enlistingthe help ofDr Tijion Esho (who has appeared on Channel 4's Body Fixers) in a bid to help thinning caused by hair extensions and other stresses to her hair.

The procedure our lass underwent is a new treatment called 'PRP' (Platelet-Rich Plasma therapy), which consisted of extracting her own blood with a needle and then injecting it into her scalp to stimulate hair follicles.

In Dr Tijion's Youtube video, she explained: "For the last couple of years I've been getting progressively more concerned about the condition of my hair. It's a lot of stress."

She explained that she frequently wears hair extensions, and it's constantly being styled and pulled which has resulted in'traction alopecia'.

The doc explained that despite a few "screams" from Vicky, she handled the procedure pretty well.

This was just one of a recommended two sessions, so we'll have to hold tight to see the results.

While we must admit we've always been mega-jel of Vicky's locks, it's no secret that constant styling and hair extensions can srsly take it's toll and we can't wait to see the final result.
