Muse: 'Next Album Is Gonna Get Heavy'

Matt Bellamy teases fans about stripped back new long player...

Muse have been dropping further hints about their next album, which they have promised fans is going to be "heavy".

Frontman Matt Bellamy has been interacting with fans on Twitter - answering questions about their plans for the new LP.

One user asked him: "So, are you sticking to your 'going back to guitar/drums/bass' or was that just Matt being a tease?"

To which he replied: "yes. It's gonna get heavy."

And when another asked "How's the album coming along? You guys excited?" - Bellamy responded: "yes, going well. We hope to have it ready for next summer."

The band's last studio album was The 2nd Law from 2012, which went platinum.
