Muse Plan UFOs for V Festival
The over the top three-piece are planning a spectacular show for the August event
Muse want to launch UFOs over the crowd when they headline V Festival.
The group told NME they want to spend some of their hefty fee on bringing their flamboyant stage show to the fields of Essex and Stafford.
Singer Matt Bellamy said: With V, they pay ridiculous fees, so it's a chance to spend the money on big UFOs that land on the crowd's heads!
Muse drummer Dom added: I'm looking forward to playing it immensely. We're working on the show at the moment - seeing if we can work in the big satellites we had at Wembley.
Also playing at V Festival are The Verve, Amy Winehouse, The Prodigy, Stereophonics and Kings Of Leon.
Tickets sold out within 90 minutes on Friday.
Muse play a Teenage Cancer Trust gig next month.
