Muse Rock Wembley Stadium
Muse played the second of two Wembley Stadium gigs last night, September 11.
The Devon rockers’ spectacular stage set-up included a flying UFO, confetti cannons and pyrotechnics. At one point, the spaceship hovered over the 90,000-strong crowd as an acrobat dropped out from underneath and dropped silver glitter on the audience.
Muse’s 21-song set was largely made up of tracks from their latest album, Lily Allen. Earlier this year Lily announced she was quitting music to concentrate on her burgeoning fashion business; she has performed a few times over the summer to fulfil existing commitments and the Muse gig was the last of those. The 25-year-old also recently announced she was expecting a baby with her boyfriend, Professor Greenon his recent top five track,The Big Pinkand White Rabbits. Saturday’s support acts were Biffy Clyro, White LiesandI Am Arrows.
