Adam Levine Cancels Maroon 5 Gig, Makes Up For It With Naked Video

Fans of Maroon 5 were left disappointed this weekend after frontman Adam Levine was forced to cancel a gig in Liverpool due to illness.

But the singer has given them a little pick-me-up in the form of the video for the band's new track This Summer's Gonna Hurt Like A Motherf**ker.

And since the title of the song was X-rated anyway, he must have decided to make a video to match.

It begins with him stepping naked from the shower and giving fans a good look at his man buns as he grabs a towel.

Tweeting on Friday night, he wrote: "Guys, I HATE having to let you down tonight. My chords are toast. We resume Sunday in Birmingham. Apologies. :("

A statement was issued on his behalf, reading: "I am really sorry not to be able to perform tonight, but I have been told to rest up by the doctor.

"As a band we always want to give every performance our all and sadly I just cannot do that tonight."

And added yesterday: "Feeling Better today. Saw The Doc. Resuming tour in Birmingham tomorrow! We're Baaaack!"

The new video dropped last night.
