Owl City is really the mind of Adam Young, a by-all-accounts shy young talent from Minnesota, USA. Heavily influenced by US indie bands The Postal Service and Bright Eyes as well as European dance music, he has fashioned something all of his own and found gigantic success as a result.

His single “Fireflies” reached number one on the US Billboard Chart and sold over 200,000 copies in one week alone. He’s had an insane 69.5 million plays on Myspace and he hasn't even started yet.

Owl City’s album 'Ocean Eyes' is released on 22nd February through Island Records.
