DIPSET WORKING IN A NEW MIXTAPE?

Last year we kept you well informed on the reunion progress of the Diplomats. Since Cam’ron, Jim Jones, Juelz Santana and co put their differences aside and announced they’ll be getting back in the studio for a much anticipated comeback, fans have been eagerly waiting for a new LP from the Harlem natives. Despite a comeback single and live performance at the 2010 BET Hip-Hop Awards, an album has yet to be recorded. Well don’t worry guys, some new Dipset music is in the midst...

In a recent interview with VIBE Magazine, Jim Jones reveals that the crew plan to release a mixtape in preparation of their long-awaited comeback album:

“We’re about to drop a Diplomats mixtape just to get the streets warm,” Jones revealed, adding that the release will feature original records and Dipset remixes of popular records. “You know how we do the mixtapes. Hopefully by February we’ll have that on the streets.”
