Tinie Tempah has cited social networking sites, such as Facebook and Twitter, as portals where fans show him the most support after it was announced that MySpace would be making several redundancies. MySpace, a site once popular for musicians to upload tracks and connect with fans, are to lay off possibly half of its workforce and various musicians, including Tempah, who has given shared his thoughts on the issue...
Speaking to Radio 1’s Newsbeat, he says: "To be fair, I feel like my demographic show me a lot more interest via Twitter and Facebook. I like to concentrate on where they are. I'm a very keen user of YouTube too. I like to do a lot of video blogging. I go where wherever my fans go and I hope they do the same for me. Everyone seems to be using Facebook and Twitter at the moment so that's where I'm at."
MySpace became world renowned after several artists, including Lily Allen, Kate Nash and the Arctic Monkeys, became synonymous with finding success due to the site.
