Mr Mitchell, previously one half of The Mitchell Brothers, has returned to the music scene for good this year, and he intends to make 2012 the year where we all get to know him as a solo artist to be reckoned with. With an EP to look forward to this summer, Mr Mitchell gives us a little taste of what to expect with his new single, 'On The Rooftop'...
The single has a dubby feel but, in a recent interview, Mr Mitchell explained that the song has a deeper meaning, lyrically, describing a rooftop as "a place that you can escape your problems and be up with the birds." A catchy tune with intelligent lyrics and a head-bobbing beat, we're definitely looking forward to seeing what else Mr Mitchell has under his sleeve for the rest of the year.
