TYGA DISCUSSES ALBUM RECALL

in News

Tyga’s highly anticipated debut album, 'Careless World: Rise Of The Last King', was released this week, but not without serious drama. The title track of the album caused some problems when it was discovered that the Young Money rapper used unauthorised audio of Martin Luther King Jr...

He told radio station, V-103: "Basically, the stores and label recalled them. I'm looking on my Twitter and fans are hitting me up all day, like, posting pictures of the album and they have some in stores, but then they have a piece of paper next to them saying, 'Recalled. Can't sell.' I'm like, 'Yo! This is crazy.' My fans are going crazy, like, 'I have it in my hand, I'm thinking about just stealing it, but I wanna buy it though', and I'm like, 'Nah, just go back tomorrow."

As Tyga couldn’t get the sample approved, new copies with the sample removed were shipped to stores. He also spoke to Global Grind recently, sending out a message to his fans:  "It’s [the album] real important to me, so if you support team Tyga and Last Kings, team YMCMB, make sure you support that. I think they know my Twitter @TYGA.

"There’s another Twitter out there, @TygaYMCMB, that’s not my page but they be saying a lot of quotes all day. I know they have like 300,000 followers or something, but it’s not me though. People always like, 'Why Tyga always tweeting this sensitive stuff?' I think it’s a girl."
